BOLIS GOURMET - Made at Home

OUR HISTORY

As a first sale option, I had planned to make crochet crafts because my mother is dedicated to that and getting materials would not be a problem, but when we thought about sales we came to the conclusion that it would not be a good idea because they would be things that probably do not know. sold often and that is where the idea of the product I make arises, thinking about the season and the neighborhood in which I live made the option more viable because the pens are more consumable and the neighbors and children of my neighborhood consume a lot of this kind of things because we are far from shops and businesses.

When I had the idea, I started looking for recipes that would make my pens richer and healthier, that's when I decided to make them gourmet, that's how I managed to make my product attract more attention. I decided that I would not have the equipment for this due to the transportation situation in my family at that time, I did not know if my mother was going to be able to buy her car in these months and also because she is from a different community from the others, I thought she was not going to be fulfilling as it should in this very important project. For the choice of name I did not complicate because I chose one that at the moment came to my mind and that people would easily remember when thinking that they crave “something ice cream”.

For the first sale I felt very nervous because my family shared my business on Facebook and my orders increased, I had to make more products and find where to freeze them because my freezer no longer had space, at the end of the day I felt proud of myself because I was alone. I succeeded and this sale was successful. In addition, the implementation of logo and flavor labels to each pen made them look even more striking and was the trigger for the largest sales.

Even though I had some problems that made me feel stressed about not having help and thinking that I would not make it, to this day I feel proud about it, I did it and in the way I had never thought. Without a doubt, I will continue to make my pens and sell them to those who are now my clients.
